Warm-a-rama (all IC): 40x SSH, 10x Bonny Blairs, 15x Merkins, 10x Mountain Climbers
The Thang: Mosey over to the pull-up bars for some old-fashioned Tabata in 5 station-rotating-fashion, all exercises performed AMRAP for 1 minute, 30 seconds each with 20 second rest periods between:
Exercise 1: Pull-Ups (PAX modified at failure)
Exercise 2: Merkins
Exercise 3: Jump Squats
Exercise 4: Burpees
Exercise 5: Bicycles
Mosey over to tennis courts for a DORA “on steroids:”
150 merkins, 250 squats, 350 flutterkicks (double count). Partner 2 bear-crawled the length of two tennis courts, jogged the rest of the way to the end, executed 3 burpees, ran back to pick up on the exercises. Mary was performed for about a minute afterwards
“Bonny Blair ladder” (the ultimate leg finisher): PAX circled up, assume the lunge position. On Q’s down, PAX executed 1 rep of a bonny blair without the jump (aka a stationary lunge) and held the down position for 5 seconds. We repeated with static holds all the way up to 5 reps, repeat the 5 reps at the top, back down to 1, each round of reps the static hold was held at the end. After one leg was toast, we switched positions and shredded the other one as well. To ensure none of us had legs left attached to our bodies, EOM and Geiger led us all in 20 reps of mary, sumo squats and smurfjacks, respectively.
