The mission of F3 is to plant grow and serve small workout groups for men and for the invigoration of male community leadership.

  1. Workouts are always free
  2. Are open to all men
  3. Held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
  4. Lead by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification needed.
  5. End with a Circle of Trust (COT)


I entered the snake pit with my bronze serpent on a staff (shovel) for protection from the Mambas and then gave a speech about the story of the bronze serpent found in the Bible in the book of Numbers chapter 21.

To the tennis courts  

The first thing the Pax performed were wall snakes and wall conveyors (see below for explanation). This proved to be very difficult. Just about all of our arms gave out before the snake and conveyor was complete.

Wall (Snakes) Worms – Start in the Balls to the Wall position, inch your way to the left or right using your hands on the ground and feet on the wall.

Wall Conveyor – All pax against wall of a building in balls to the wall (BTTW) position. First pax at 1 end of line drops down from BTTW and runs to end of the line then gets back into BTTW position. Next pax follows and this repeats until Q says to stop or run out of wall.

Next the paxs got stronger doing doracides

Doracides– 2 PAX work together to reach cumulative exercise goals of 100 Overhead claps, 200 Merkins, 300 LBC, and 400 Wojo Squats (Slap Pavement) reps. The difference comes in the sprint, instead of running 100 yards you will do suicides instead. 1 PAX member will execute as many reps as possible while PAX 2 sprints to cone 1 (or use a pole, tree, etc. for your point of turnaround), 1 burpee, sprint back to partner, touch, sprint to cone 2, 2 burpees, sprint back to partner, touch, sprint to cone 3, 3 burpees, sprint back, switch with partner. PAX member picks up where PAX member doing the exercises left off.

After the name o rama we welcomed FNG Wild Thang home on Christmas break from Charlotte.

Announcements – Mambas Christmas party

Next I finished the story of the bronze serpent by jumping forward to John Ch 3. I highly encourage you to read these two accounts. In Numbers you get a shadow of the gospel and in John you see the gospel revealed.

Then in a showing of solidarity I presented the Mambas with the Bronze Serpent Shovel and encouraged everyone to never forget the grace of God. It was an excellent morning. I and many of the other Pax definitely felt reinvigorated!!!

The Mombas are a force to be reckoned with. They are so motivating and have added so much to F3. I look forward to seeing what is instore for this AO.

Prayer – for the grace of God to be known by us all and for us to be present during this Christmas season. To be focused on those that are around us, over and above ourselves.
