As @Crockett has been the fearless leader of Arrowhead over this first year, I felt it was fitting to pay tribute to the Miami Hurricanes as they head into Death Valley to face the #1 ranked Clemson Tigers this weekend. I decided to look up some historic facts of Hurricane’s football to implement into the workout.

8 x burpee with hope overs (Complete a burpee, but rather than jump, jump over the wall to into the court, then complete next burpee, jumping back over the wall until 8 reps are completed)
Mosey up the parking lot and over to baseball field
The Hurricanes have had 2 Heisman Trophy winners, Vinny Testaverde and Gino Torretta. The QB’s wore numbers 14 and 13…. let’s make our way around the field using those numbers as our Rep Count

That completed our trip around for Leg work, now time to hit the Core. For fun, we decided to round the bases backward, while running backward. (The PAX even thought they would be funny and count all of the Cadences backward from 13/14 down to 1)

Part 1 starts exercise, Partner 2 runs to other side of Tennis court and performs 3 Donkey Kicks against the fence, then back to relieve partner, keeping a running count until all exercises are complete.

I am not sure if you get much better mumblechatter than that of Hoveround. There was plenty of banter, joking and good fun to be had. Thanks for making your first trip out to Arrowhead!
