AO- Breakpoint
Pax: Mr T and Flightnurse
3 pax gathered in the pre-dawn rain looking for a serving of breakpoint. They got it.
Warmorama-
SSH IC x 30
Imperial Walkers IC x 20
Gravel pickers IC x 10.
Tha Thang-
We took a leisurely mosey to the shelter via the long way on the trail. Something about running in a group of 3 in the rain in the dark, that is special.
We parked at the shelter for sun dial Merkin routine.
10 reps – incline merkins, 3 o’clock merkins (1 hand, 1 foot on bench, 1 hand, 1 foot on ground), derkins, and 6 o’clock merkins (flapjack 3 o’clock).
20 step ups.
Then rinse and repeat the sundial merkin routine down to 5, doing the step ups after each revolution.
When reps get to 5, do one last one with 10 reps each.
Then Mr T had us do a variety of calf raises for 142 minutes.
We then moseyed to tennis courts for burpee suicides.
Run one court, one burpee and back, 2 courts, 2 burpees and back, 3 courts, 3 burpees and back.
Rinse and repeat.
Back to flag.
All of the pax took a turn at Mary. She liked it.
CoT- We had some strong conversation about faith, church, sharing your faith, living a life that is congruent with what we say we believe. Lots of gratitude for F3.
Moleskin- So, I love going to an AO with 30 jacked up pax. Always have a blast. But I think the most meaningful posts have been the ones with 5 pax or less. There is a bond in the mutual suffering of a small group of brothers. Embrace the suck brothers. Thanks forembracing me.
It was an honor and a pleasure.
