QIC: Dixie Chick
# of PAX: 12

PAX:  BabyBack, Overbite, LETC, Trump, BTB, Sooner, Snap-On, Doubtfire, Waterboy, Kicks, Atari and Dixie Chick.

The humidity was down, there was a little breeze, LETC was back…..I started crying.  12 pax experienced some Pearls of Wisdom around Wrightsville Beach to start their week.

  • Side Straddle Hop x 30 IC
  • Little Baby Arm Circles x 20 IC
  • Cotton Pickers x 20 IC
  • Copperhead Squat x 20 IC
  • Burpees x 5 (OYO)

We started out with a mosey to the field by the basketball courts.  The PAX bear crawled to the pull-up bars and did a merkin every time I shouted “down”.

We then lined up in two lines and did Pull-Ups, AMRAP for 3 rounds.  Busted Grill would have loved this one.  Sooner did not like this one.

Afterward, we moseyed to the fence and did some Derkins x 20 (IC)

We then lunged across the field and performed a burpee on “down”.

Lastly, we crab-walked across another field doing 5 LBC’s on my command.

Next up was an Indian Run to the beach.  We had to see the beach, right?

On arrival, we did a mini Dora shoulder burn

Carolina Dry Docks x 50

Shoulder Taps x 100

Merkins x 150

Back to home base

Freddie Mercuries x 30 IC

Burpees x 5 (OYO)

Babyback – Like I said before, getting stronger every day!  Keep on embracing the gloom.

BTB – See you at Turbo Tuesday…and please try not to lap me.

Sooner – No, we’re not getting in the water today.  And I loved the slow nameorama.  Here’s to a quick recovery on that shoulder.

LETC – Glad to have you back!  I just stopped crying.

Snap-On – Sorry, I fibbed about the no running part of the Q.

Waterboy – After your next post I’m going to buy you a blooming onion and four Big Macs.

Kicks – Strong work today, see you downtown soon.

Atari – Nice to see you outside of HMP.

Overbite – See you tomorrow at Turbo Tuesday.

That’s a wrap.  It’s great to see how F3 can have such a positive influence on so many people’s lives.  Like LETC said, let’s never take it for granted.

Always an honor to lead!

Dixie Chick
