AO: Thursday Thunder @ Stingray
# of Pax: 9
PAX: 10 Count, Offering Plate, Wahlberger, Pledge, Magnito, Thumbs, Geiger, Erie and Wapner
Warm-o-rama: Seal Claps x 30 IC, Merkins x 20 OYO, Jump Squats x 10 IC
The Thang: We partnered up for an Atlas Stone Dora consisting of 100 overhead presses, 200 Squats, and 300 stone jumps (jump over the stone left-right and vice versa). The partners without an Atlas Stone performed a lunge walk with a Kettlebell to cones about 20yds out and back before they switched.
We then switched over to a station rotation with 4 stations: 30in plyo box for box jumps or step-ups, Battle Rope tug of war, Atlas Stone shoulder throws, and Kettlebell Swings. Each partner performed the exercise simultaneously. We switched stations after the tug of war station completed 2 rounds. We did 2 circuits.
We finished off with an entertaining match of tug of war in which we determined that Pledge was the strongest Pax that posted today 😉
COT: Praises for the personal growth in 10 Count’s brother, who has stepped up as a husband and father. Shout-out to F3 EMC for posting with us. He’s going to let our F3 brothers in Greenville know that they’re slacking by failing to bring out the “toys” for beatdowns. As always, prayers for our military and first responders. Also be sure to lift up all the administrators, teachers and students going back to school soon.
Moleskine: Today’s workout was grueling and Pledge took my “chicken legs” mumblechatter as a compliment. After today, no one who posted at Thursday Thunder has chicken legs. It was a pleasure having our F3 ENC brother Erie out from Greenville. We learned that 10 Count and Magnito are great tug of war anchors. Everyone calloused the mind just a bit more today as we fought through the beatdown. Also, there were no h8te h8tes at Thursday Thunder, even though it’s their day. Strong work! Who’s motivated?!?!?!
