Moleskine:

Today was my little girl’s 7th birthday so that’s why there’s lot of 7’s and 11’s in the workout. She came up with an exercise called the Slurpee that the guys were kind enough to perform in her honor. The Slurpee starts in a standing position, drop to your six with feet straight out, stretch to touch your toes, feel back in to stand up and end with a jump. It’s kind of like an inverted burpee.

Psalm 127 says “Children are a heritage from the Lord. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them.” Emma Love is the second in my quiver of three. In a world where children are idolized or seen as insignificant, we need to see our children as blessings from God and as our responsibility to sharpen them with God’s help in order to send them out like arrows into the world to have an impact for good. Thankful for this arrow God has given me.
