Sunrise Miles

Q: Flounder

PAX: 8 Penny, Bogey, FNG (K-Bar)

For a while, I thought it was going to just be me out there. Thankfully, right at 8:30 8-Penny pulled up and hiding in the back parking lot was Bogey and FNG (K-Bar). BTB was supposed to Q but due to his anniversary today, he wisely passed the torch!

The Thang: Mosey to the beach access then Indian Run for 1 mile. From there, a 1 mile run to determine a good baseline time. 20 Merkins, 20 American Hammers, 10 Burpees then take the 2 mile run back to the beach access.

Moleskin/COT: It was challenging today as the tide was coming in but oh, what a sunrise. It was so beautiful that a lady told me to run the other direction when we were making our way back (the sunset behind us). Because of the tide,
by the time we were on our way back, we had to run on soft sand most of the way. What an ass-whippin’! Being 8-Penny outpaced us all he was nice enough to pick up the six. Bogey came strolling in so due to time, we headed back to the COT to wait on 8-Penny and FNG. It took a while but 8-Penny came with K-Bar. K-Bar is a former Marine and has found F3 to get his six back in shape. He may not have picked the best AO to start but he finished strong! Rumor has it some merlot was splashed.

We wrapped up with a thankful prayer and reminder to live each day as Jesus did!

It was a good day!

Flounder out!
