Back in the Day

QIC: Busted Grill

The PAX: Rx, Moab, Mr. T, Niles, Flight Nurse, Hoveround (scouted all the surrounding territory before and during the post), Mr. Kotter (kind of a driveby post)

The Warm-up: Seal claps IC x 25, imperial walkers IC x 20, cotton pickers IC x 20

The Thang: At the A benches, dips, step ups, incline merkins, crunchy frogs, decline merkins, to the easy listening music of Elvis, Dean Martin, Ezio Pinza. Mosey to the field as Ike and Tina transition us from easy to rough for grinders. Merkins, reverse lunges, crunchy frogs, heels to heaven ground to the sounds of Buddy Holly, Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis. Easing down with Fats Domino and Nileses’ bombay merkins ( don’t ask ). I was smoked so we walked with Fats to the pull up bars for partner assisted sit ups, pull ups and knee ups to Ricky Nelson, Peter, Paul, and Mary and the Beach Boys. Back to easy listening for mosey suicides which apparently can’t be done by F3ers as the pace quickly picked up. Niles did make the best effort to keep it to a mosey, but eventually gave in to peer pressure. There was some low planking before we moseyed back to the flag.

Mary: Hoveround and Mr. Kotter joined us as we took turns leading Mary to the finish line.

Namerama and counterama

COT: Q apologized that there would be no 25 cent beer or 25 cent gallons of gas as it was when our artists were making their music. Prayers for Sydnie Scott, Seahorse and Okra, Rxes Father-in-law Johnny, my friend Dave with a broken leg, the ruckers and all those who protect and serve us.

An Honor and a Privilege,      BG
