After making vague accusations of being signed up for the Q without authorization or warning (only to have indisputable evidence point to the contrary), many of you may be wondering if I’m stupid or a liar. Well, I’ll tell you this–I am not a damned liar!
Luckily, I had a bit of warning that I might be Qing, so I prepped a little something on the ride over. Once we began, there were concerns about how leg-centric the beatdown was going to be. I assured them that legs were not the primary focus. (So why are my legs so sore today?)
- 30 x SSH
- 25 x Hindu Merkins
- 50 x Hindu Squats
A short mosey to a Picnic Shelter
- 45 x Bulgarian Split Squats (on each leg–ouch)
- 45 x Crunchy Frogs
- 45 x Diamond (or traditional) Merkins
- 45 x Superman Thrusts
From here we moseyed a few hundred yards over to our resident volleyball courts and lined up for some good ole’ fashioned sprints in the soft sand.
- 4 x Soft Sand Sprints
Next we continued to mosey our way around The Nest and found ourselves at Flamer’s Wall.
- 30 x Bulgarian Split Squats
- 30 x Crunchy Frogs
- 30 x Diamond (or traditional) Merkins
- 30 x Superman Thrusts
- 10x High Knee (Screaming Eagle) Burpees
- 5 x Balls to the Wall Merkins
From here we were ready to rest our weary bones on a nice mosey back to the flags.
First things first, we had to initiate our FNG (Chris Fisher). It wasn’t difficult after learning that his first concert was the illustrious Dolly Parton. Mr. Fisher became 9-2-5, and all was right in the world. EPO reminded us that he will be leading a Q-school beatdown on Friday and that we should sign up for the Low Tide Run on St. Patrick’s Day.
Nomad asked for some support from The Big Guy as his twins go under the blade. Hooch suggested frozen peas for the mend. Hooch then took us out with prayers.
It is a privilege and an honor to lead these early morning beatdowns. We make each other better every single day. Peace, Love, and get those chests to the ground,
–Trollystop (Choo! Choo!)
