WARM-UP: SSH x 30 IC, Mountain Climbers x 20 IC, Cotton Pickers x 20 IC
8 kettlebell stations were set up in the parking lot, consisting of Goblet Squats, LBCs, Upright Rows, Triceps Extensions, V-Ups, Lawnmower Pulls, Kettlebell Swings and Bicep Curls. The PAX paired up. #1 runs the parking lot loop while #2 commences the exercise. #2 does AMRAP until #1 returns, then #2 runs the loop while #1 does AMRAP of the same exercise. When #2 returns they pick another station and proceed in the same way until all 8 stations have been completed by both partners.
(Dixie Chick had the misfortune to be paired with the Q and we all know what a fast runner I am, which meant Dixie Chick had to do LOTS of reps of each exercise while awaiting my return. I’m confident he won’t make the mistake of pairing up with me again.)

Prayer for successful outcome for Seahorse’s dad who is undergoing lower back surgery today. Prayer of thanks for all those who went before us that we might live in this free country today and a prayer of protection and gratitude for those who regularly put themselves in harm’s way for us. A reminder of what many consider President Ronald Reagan’s most memorable lines: “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”
