Irma, Meet Turbo Tuesday!

I woke up this morning hearing the wind, the rain and was curious how many non-fartsackers I would see in the gloom.  Not that we really have even tasted Irma but listening to the rain come down at 5:00 a.m., I knew only Cape Fear’s bravest and toughest F3 PAX would be ready for Turbo Tuesday! Due to the weather, there was a backup plan for a workout in the parking deck of the Methodist Church just in case.  Zuck saw me contemplating and simply stated…”let’s run!”  Awesome…just what I was hoping.  In hindsight, I don’t even know why I thought different considering the company I was in this morning.  So, a quick warm up and we were off.

Q:  Flounder

PAX:  Zuckerburg and Bob The Builder

Warm Up:  20 SSH’s, 2 minutes of leg stretching OYO.

The Thang:  Pretty simple this morning…we ran!  6 miles by running the Loop to Shell Island and back.

COT/Moleskin:  Happy Birthday to two M’s today: Megan Konrady and Mary Johnson.  Zuck offered up a little coffee F2 but both BTB and I had to get back for birthday preparation.  Next time, Zuck!  BTB took us out with a blessing for the day.  It was great.

BTW…if you ever wondered if it was possible to have a head wind from every direction, we found out today that it most certainly is!  The wind and rain made it a bit more challenging but also made for a perfect start to the day.

Flounder Out!
